Thursday July, 3
Thursday will be an exciting day for the adventurous ones in the group! RSU offers a ropes course called the Hillcat Challenge. The Hillcat Challenge is recommended to anyone over the age of 12. It is designed to build confidence and teamwork among participants using a combination of games, obstacle courses and problem solving activities. The degree to which each person participates is the individuals choice, based on what the person can comfortably and willingly risk. No one is required, forced, or coerced to perform any activity. Those choosing to participate in the Hillcat Challenge will do low elements in the morning and move on to the high elements in the afternoon. Some of the elements include a zip line, platforms, logs, games, climbing wall and other activities. To view the website please visit http://www.rsu.edu/hilltopchallenge
It is important to note that all participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by the parent or guardian.
The fee for the Hillcat Challenge is $30 for the full day course and $20 for the half day. The full day consists of low and high elements and the half day consists of only low elements. There is a minimum of 10 people required for the ropes course to be available to us. Please contact Julie Hays at jhchays@yahoo.com to sign up. We would like to begin the ropes course at 8:00 a.m. due to the heat. Those not wanting to participate are welcome to watch the brave and daring ones!!
Dinner will be served in the banquet room at 5:00.
The worship service will be in the auditorium at 7:00 with Brother Charles Baxter speaking on "Elders/Leaders as Servants".
As a reminder the deadline for ordering t-shirts is May 1. Contact Jamie Newhart at jamie2-newhart@sbcglobal.net
We have had some questions about bringing small children to the Ladies' Tea. The tea and desserts will be served on china and the mansion is decorated with delicate antiques so please use your discretion.

Schedule for Monday June 30th
Monday will be an especially exciting day for the ladies! At 1:00 we are planning a Ladies Tea at the Belvidere Mansion in Claremore. The building is a beautiful and elegant Victorian style mansion that was built in the 1900's. It will be closed to the public so we will have it all to ourselves! The ladies will enjoy tasty desserts with tea and fellowship with sisters in Christ. There will not be a fee for the tea however it would be very helpful to let us know if you are planning on attending. You can make your Tea reservations with Jamie Newhart. You can check out the Belvidere Mansion at www.belvideremansion.com.
The evening meal will be served in the banquet room at RSU at 5:00. Just a reminder: even if you are not planning on staying in the dorms be sure and make your meal reservations so we will have plenty of food for everyone! This will be a great time for visiting and catching up with old friends! Make your meal reservations and t-shirt orders with Jamie Newhart at jamie2-newhart@sbcglobal.net.
The evening worship service will be in the auditorium on the RSU campus at 7:00. Brother Gene Siemens will be speaking on Husbands and Wives as Servants. We have been told the auditorium lighting is dim. Feel free to bring a pen light or the use of a device, such as an iPod/iPad might be helpful.
If any congregations are interested in helping with the Summer Meeting it would be greatly appreciated. All donations received will go directly to lower the cost of each meal to all participants. Donations should be sent to:

Specifics of Schedule- Sunday June 29th
I wanted to give everyone the specifics of the schedule. Here is a breakdown of Sunday, June 29th.
Both services that day will be held at The Northeast Technology Center. The address for that is: 1901 N. Hwy 88, Claremore, OK 74017. It is only a couple of miles from Rogers State University. The auditorium at the college will not allow us to have any food or drink in the building. So that made serving of the Lord's Supper a problem. Brother Ron Stearnes works at NTC so he was able to make the Technology Center available to us. Thank you Brother Ron!!
The morning service will be at 10:30 with Brother Owen Campbell speaking. The topic for his sermon is: Lord, Make Me Like You.
Directly following the morning service we will head back over to RSU for lunch in the banquet room. All the meals will be served buffet style and will be family friendly. We have been told the food is quite tasty!
Some time in the afternoon we will begin check-in to the dorms. There will be a table set up at the dorms and Richard & Jamie Newhart will be directing everyone to their rooms, handing out keys and getting everyone set up. We will also pass out t-shirts to those who ordered them.
The evening service will be at 5:00 with Brother Layne Fields speaking. The topic for his sermon is: Lord, Make Me a Servant.
Everyone be making plans to be at the meeting! We are looking forward to seeing you all!

Just to be clear, dorms are not available until Sunday, June 29th after the morning worship service. Sorry for the inconvenience, but the dorms are not available Saturday night. If you are planning on coming Saturday you will need to look into getting a hotel in the Claremore, Catoosa, or Owasso area.
Dorm check out will be Sunday, July 6th by 2:00 PM.
